Finally a Five-Star Chinese Chef comes to Long Island !

Good news to us Long Islanders, now you don’t have to travel to the city to enjoy the best Chinese food. If you’ve never tasted Shanghai-Style Chinese Cuisine, then you definitely must try this newly opened Zong’s Shanghai at 558 Stewart Avenue in King Kullen Shopping Center, Bethpage. Unlike the ordinary Chinese cooking that many of us grew up and are familiar with, usually either Cantonese or Szechuan, Shanghai-Style Cuisine strives for a balance between heavy and light, with an emphasis on delicacy and freshness that stands out.

The magic of this marvelous Chinese restaurant which everyone has been longing for is its Five-Star Master Chef / Co-Owner – Mr. Zong Xing Tu. This world renowned master chef had previously headed many of the best Chinese restaurants in New York and Texas, including Joe’s Shanghai in Flushing ( Queens ) where Mr. Zong’s earned a two-star rating with New York Times ( April 26, 1996 ). His dishes are so wonderful that countless newspapers and magazines highly recommended his cooking repeatedly.
